“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.”

So has been my quest at the moment, soaking in everything autumny. I have been pinning autumn ideas on Pinterest http://pinterest.com/laliev/autumn/
We visited Cullinan once again on Monday, (see one of my earlier posts on this little town http://pillion-reflections.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-quaint-little-town-of-cullinan.html). Having two days off in the week and being able to get back on the bike was pure bliss! We left a little later than usual and instead of a breakfast run we ended up having lunch at Harries pancake Cullinan. Reason for this is the cooler autumn mornings...

Although in South Africa we don't celebrate thanksgiving during Fall, I would like to use this time to reflect on the beauty around and am thankful for all the many blessings!
This is a beautiful video to end off which is set to the music: "La Petite Fille de la Mer" by Vangelis...
Lorelle - Fall is my absolute, most favorite time of year ... until spring comes that is... then I love summer too and there is nothing as beautiful as the first snowfall of winter.....
ReplyDeleteLove the breakfast montage, kind of makes me hungry.
Lovely! What a great sunny day! I hope you have a long warm autumn!
ReplyDeleteI must admit Karen I am not too fond of winter here. We don't have snow and everything dies in the garden, and the bike stays parked in the garage for most of the time. Luckily though, we don't have long winters!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments :-)
Thanks Dar, I am also hoping for a loooooong warm autumn :-D
ReplyDeleteLovely images, we have finally shed our winter and you are just starting into it...now that's the way to eat pancakes. Have lovely rides until you are forced to park the bike for a bit!
ReplyDeleteThanks Suzi, we are going to do just that, get in as much riding as possible before the winter chill!! Enjoy your warmer weather and lots of biking to look forward to!
